The day before Valentine's Day, me and my sister went to London for the day to have a little shop around and somehow we fell into Selfridges and came upon the Charlotte Tilbury counter. I have been lusting over Charlotte Tilbury for the longest time and since I only have one product from them which is the Rock 'N' Kohl eyeliner in Bedroom Black I thought it would be a great opportunity to try a few more of their products and better still I thought I'd treat myself to a little Valentine's present because if there's no-one to love you and spoil you on Valentine's Day you might as well spoil yourself!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjO5AO8t6d0-WlB-RjeJtMp-VOkQmNtxXSLQRcAhc7JmD1-PIJpolPCjQvCkuVZvkBUINclPzkfR7MHuvd-7X0KoMfhvzFQ9DrmOJr38P6plbxVT1vK-qHBBpG9yTNjr9GC8jRm-I3YLewE/s1600/charlotte+tilbury+haul.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjO5AO8t6d0-WlB-RjeJtMp-VOkQmNtxXSLQRcAhc7JmD1-PIJpolPCjQvCkuVZvkBUINclPzkfR7MHuvd-7X0KoMfhvzFQ9DrmOJr38P6plbxVT1vK-qHBBpG9yTNjr9GC8jRm-I3YLewE/s640/charlotte+tilbury+haul.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The first thing I picked up was something I knew I wanted and had to get before I even got to the counter and it's the Filmstar Bronze and Glow, so many people have this and so many people rave about this, it's a lovely little contour and highlight duo and I've only used this once but the contour shade is the perfect colour, not too warm and not too cool toned. I also really like the highlight well but I do love a strong highlight and this is a little bit subtle but it's great nonetheless. I think that this would be a great product to take on holiday since you've got the two in one contour and highlight. One thing I have to talk about is the packaging, Charlotte Tilbury packaging is the most beautiful packaging I have seen. The rose gold is literally to die for and this is a blogger 'thing' if you like but you just want to take hundreds of photos and Charlotte Tilbury products are just ones that should be out on show on your dressing table, they are way too pretty to be put away into a draw where no-one can see them.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The next thing I got was the Magic Foundation, I have heard a lot about this recently and I am always sceptical when it comes to base products that everyone seems to be raving about because I never know if it'll work for me and I think with products like bronzers and highlighters you can definitely work with them if you feel like they don't work as well for you as they did for someone else but with base products it's different. I've used this a couple times since I got it and I do really like it so far, I feel like it's not as full coverage as I'd like it to be and I do find myself having to use more than I would if I were to use my Mac Studio Fix but I find that it lasts on my skin all day and it just makes my skin look quite radiant and fresh I think. The only thing I'm not too keen on is the smell of it, I think it smells a bit funny but you can't really smell it once you've blended it in so that's alright, I can live with that. Again I think the packaging is gorgeous but I won't go on about it because we all know how lovely looking Charlotte Tilbury products are.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I then got myself two lipsticks, I wanted to try out both of the formulas that they do so I picked up Bitch Perfect from the K.I.S.S.I.N.G range and Very Victoria from the Matte Revolution range. Bitch Perfect is one that is very popular and there are a few people that seem to be talking and wearing this lipstick recently. I had wanted this since I heard Sammi from BeautyCrush or Samantha Maria it is now, but it's such a beautiful pink colour that is perfect for everyday use. Very Victoria is a very nice nude colour, I sort of picked this up on a whim because obviously I wanted to try out one of each formula and I just picked this one because I thought it was the nicest Matte Revolution one that they had. I don't think that it being matte makes much of a difference to the other formula when it comes to being quite moisturising. Usually matte lipsticks are quite drying but I didn't find that with this one at all. I found that it lasted a really long time and it didn't make my lips dry in the slightest. The only thing I would say in comparison about these lipsticks are that the packaging is exactly the same, I definitely would've preferred the two to be slightly different because they are two different formulas and since there are only two different formulas that they do I think it would've been nice to put them in slightly different packaging so you can tell the difference between them on the dressing table but that's not the end of the world and I still love both lipsticks just as much.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEim2moE_WS4_R2jvqcgjP5JCPRtMRq4EZhxUGEYYq9L0-_VyDOR-c9mLCm1qnfJj0Zj3SkOXx05_rqm54yllfBnHRjdn6YExtBWQfw2rURYe2uUNcYByy3Y463mTsrBsKG8evd2eTcjTSu7/s1600/charlotte+tilbury.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEim2moE_WS4_R2jvqcgjP5JCPRtMRq4EZhxUGEYYq9L0-_VyDOR-c9mLCm1qnfJj0Zj3SkOXx05_rqm54yllfBnHRjdn6YExtBWQfw2rURYe2uUNcYByy3Y463mTsrBsKG8evd2eTcjTSu7/s640/charlotte+tilbury.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Are there any Charlotte Tilbury products that you've tried that I think I should try? I would love to know your recommendations as this is a brand that I will definitely be purchasing more from in the future.</div>

Last month I made a massive decision and that was to leave college, I think I might do a post on why I left and what happened afterwards because this year I want my blog to be slightly more personal rather than focusing on beauty, but anyway I left college and I got my first ever job. I am working full time in Boots and I have been since the beginning of December and I absolutely love it. I got my first payday last week and of course I went out shopping, I may have gone slightly overboard spending nearly half my wages but I was very excited to finally be paid after nearly a month and a half of working there. I wasn't going to do this haul, I'll be honest, I was scared of coming across like I was bragging about what I got but I just thought I'm not doing this to show off, I just want to share with you the things that I picked up and who doesn't love a good haul?!<br />
<br />
The first place I shopped at was Topshop, this was an online purchase made at around 2:30am when I realised I had been paid. I have had things in and out of my Topshop bag for around the last month just sitting there waiting until I got paid so I could buy them and finally when I was I just couldn't wait any longer and I literally made my order as soon as I got paid. So the first couple things I picked up were some sweatshirts, I got this NASA sweater by Tea and Cake which was £32, it probably sounds really silly but the thing that made me want this was because of the detail on the back, I love that it's really simple on the front and then you turn around and there's an image on the back, I just think it looks really cool. Then I got another sweater as well and this one is the Mono Colour Block Sweatshirt, it's just a really simple black and white sweater and I love it. That was £28. Next I picked up a skirt that I had been eyeing up for a while, but it had been out of stock in my size for a while and finally it came back in stock. It's the petite Herringbone Jersey A-line skirt in the grey and it was £26. I'm not a big lover of skirts but I want to branch out with the clothes I wear and slowly try things that I wouldn't usually wear and I think this is perfect because you do have the options to dress it up and dress it down as well. Then I got Cord Pinafore Dress in the burgundy colour (£39), I love the look of this, it looks so nice to just throw on and be comfy. I think it's definitely more for autumn/winter but I will definitely be wearing it throughout spring as well since it is so nice. To wear underneath that I got the Ribbed Wool Blend Cropped Jumper, the model in the photos on the website actually wore these two together and I just thought it looked really nice together which is the main reason I got this but it will also be so easy to throw on with a pair of jeans and be good to go. This was £24. Next I got a new coat, it's the Jaxson Faux Fur Short Parka, it was in the sale down from £78 to £45 which I think was pretty good. I really like it and it's very casual. I got it in the navy blue colour. The last item I ordered from Topshop was a leather jacket, I don't actually own a leather jacket because I've never found one I loved but I saw this one and had to have it. It's the Faux Fur Collar Biker Jacket (£55), one of the main reason I love this is because the fur is detachable so I have two options on how I want to wear this which I like. I think a leather jacket is a staple wardrobe piece and I am so glad to finally have one which I love.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj93_jxy9rmJuai0xyBAnCxOkASWLDM4k6JFD2CjHwcCZFlZBV31LBIOePWU230p-ecdGMxel1Hd70PCYbB6JwRF2FadgrN-HcwOhyphenhyphenatPvCNLeAUXyw4Nw36V3bsYtCXOkqXooCM5tGqU7k/s1600/things+from+topshop.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj93_jxy9rmJuai0xyBAnCxOkASWLDM4k6JFD2CjHwcCZFlZBV31LBIOePWU230p-ecdGMxel1Hd70PCYbB6JwRF2FadgrN-HcwOhyphenhyphenatPvCNLeAUXyw4Nw36V3bsYtCXOkqXooCM5tGqU7k/s640/things+from+topshop.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The online shopping at half past two in the morning didn't stop there, I went onto ASOS and ordered a few things, first was another scarf to go with the 1000s of scarves I own, it's the Oversized Scarf in Orange and Blue Check with Tassels, I really like this and I haven't got one like this so I picked it up, it was in the sale at half price from £18 to £9. I then got a hat, it's the Short Turn Up Beanie with a Pom Pom in the burgundy colour, this was also in the sale at £5.50. The last thing I got was just the simple Authentic Classic Black Mono Lace up Vans, they were £47 and I mainly got them to wear at work because they're comfy.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGQcGIkjcDxlOa3HCVWE2BwYpdKpei1nNgRwusq2ePG7QApndZsZmm4NPpTSAQtqyQ5kyE-6qiBXK4FVtL-fZIhfEeq3feA6cDQwT2qXhTLbD9adrwmI_SkrO2jV1kJZK5pU-jodQbsplA/s1600/ASOS+Haul.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGQcGIkjcDxlOa3HCVWE2BwYpdKpei1nNgRwusq2ePG7QApndZsZmm4NPpTSAQtqyQ5kyE-6qiBXK4FVtL-fZIhfEeq3feA6cDQwT2qXhTLbD9adrwmI_SkrO2jV1kJZK5pU-jodQbsplA/s640/ASOS+Haul.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I decided that in my lunch break I would go out and pick up some things, the first place I went was Superdrug, there was a couple things from there that I knew I wanted anyway so I picked them up. I got two of the Zoella 'Favourite Things' beauty bags, you may be thinking why I got two and that was because I got one for myself and I was also feeling nice so I got my sister one as well. They were £8 each. I also got a couple of things to go in the little bag for my sister as well and they were a Makeup Revolution Oil Control Fixing Spray (£5) and a Cadbury Caramel egg which I also go one of them for myself because they were on a 2 for 90p offer. Then I got myself two lipsticks, one from theBalm which was theBalm Girls in the shade Mai Billsbepaid which is such a nice nude colour which I've used a couple of times and the formula is so comfortable on the lips. That was £13.49. The other lipstick was one I could not resist, it's the Ciate Olivia Palermo lipstick in the shade Praline, again this is a nude but it's a darker nude and I really like it. That was £19 which is pretty pricy for a lipstick but it's such a gorgeous colour I couldn't say no.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeNlnwTuYyI0_nGWijkN8WYnoeBnl4rD7Dq9CEleTThjIh06a-MorXZFRCuhqQce6hH9wX-KfkBc_Sxu5QyQjEE3i_dMXLIf-4zM9Pdfpb0EVgEWZjN949KHbVZk1dznpjPWyblbfchfs3/s1600/haul+superdrug.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgeNlnwTuYyI0_nGWijkN8WYnoeBnl4rD7Dq9CEleTThjIh06a-MorXZFRCuhqQce6hH9wX-KfkBc_Sxu5QyQjEE3i_dMXLIf-4zM9Pdfpb0EVgEWZjN949KHbVZk1dznpjPWyblbfchfs3/s640/haul+superdrug.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Then I went into Primark and surprisingly I didn't actually buy hardly anything from there, just two bits. They were just two of the 20 bulb Copper Mini Fairy Lights, one set was for myself and the other to go with the other things in the beauty bag for my sister. They were £2.50 each.<br />
<br />
The last place I went to was the place where I work, Boots. I picked up three of the Garnier Micellar waters because they were on offer for £3 and also in the 3 for 2 on all skincare deal, I only paid £6 for all three which is good considering they are £4.99 when not on offer. I also picked up a new eyebrow product because I wanted to have a change from using my Maybelline 24 hour Color Tattoo in Permanent Taupe, I got the Soap and Glory Archery Brow and Tint pencil in the shade Brownie Points which may seem weird because I am blonde but I quite like a darker brow. That was £10. I then did pick up another Maybelline Color Tattoo in Permanent Taupe because I had run out of my last one and I do really like how it makes my brows look. That was £4.99. I then got two Benefit lip balms. One in the shade ChaCha Balm which I bought for myself because it's the only one I didn't own and the other shade I got was the Posie Balm which I also got to go in the beauty bag for my sister. They were £14.50 each. I then also picked up a nail polish from Barry M, this is in the shade Cappuccino which was £2.99. The biggest thing I got from there was the Gucci Guilty Black perfume, I will be doing a full review on this sometime in the future but everyday I have gone to work straight to the perfume counter and just sprayed myself with this, I love the smell, I got the biggest size which is the 75ml for £68.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggGnKiPE1yAYhCsZ55B6HlBg57w51EXjP-PkNhDEr25hqFAtAXn5Jy1VzfNoAqihQ4uMLPRevHPJf0X2nT9DJIiYlGoywnHAUHCONBtYDRmHRmCIfS5BIj4VHZ-90yu5VxOiC6diHygdtN/s1600/haul+boots.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggGnKiPE1yAYhCsZ55B6HlBg57w51EXjP-PkNhDEr25hqFAtAXn5Jy1VzfNoAqihQ4uMLPRevHPJf0X2nT9DJIiYlGoywnHAUHCONBtYDRmHRmCIfS5BIj4VHZ-90yu5VxOiC6diHygdtN/s640/haul+boots.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
That completes my haul, I can't believe I bought that much and spent that much money but I don't regret it one bit. I absolutely love everything and I'm so grateful that I now have a job which allows me to be able to go out and buy things I want. Again I just want to say I am not bragging in any way, I just want to share my new things with you guys. I hope you enjoyed reading this, if you got to the end that is! What have you been picking up recently?</div>

Here it is, the first monthly favourites of the year! I love doing these, they are definitely some of my favourite posts to write!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhe3QHM7wqT6Cy4LquNbWK7nVU_7A-QcTaM1nFOkyY7uamz8a6AgbkYKWquN6zBG3ufbjsAGCOvwqPPU5Xf_98KcLKYusLiGZ6ADES70RyTZmp-uQdCNYX0T4likwOIwcRoEXZkbQSPvGzT/s1600/january+faves.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhe3QHM7wqT6Cy4LquNbWK7nVU_7A-QcTaM1nFOkyY7uamz8a6AgbkYKWquN6zBG3ufbjsAGCOvwqPPU5Xf_98KcLKYusLiGZ6ADES70RyTZmp-uQdCNYX0T4likwOIwcRoEXZkbQSPvGzT/s640/january+faves.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The first thing I have been loving is a perfume, it's the <b>YSL Black Opium Perfume</b>, I got it just before Christmas and I honestly have been wearing this every single day since I got it. Even in the weeks before I got it I was wearing it. That's the perks of working on a fragrance counter in boots! I won't even try and describe what it smells like because I am the worst at that so this is what it describes it like on the YSL website: '<span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19.2px; text-align: start;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><i>With a glam rock aesthetic, this addictive gourmand floral entices with notes of black coffee for a shot of adrenaline, white florals to instantly seduce, and vanilla for sweetness and sensuality. Playing on the incongruity between the bitterness of the coffee bean accord, an ingredient never used before in such a high quantity in a feminine fragrance and radiant white flowers, BLACK OPIUM gives a sensation of light-headedness, bordering on ecstasy.' </i>I can't recommend this perfume enough, it's gorgeous!</span></span><br />
<span style="background-color: white; line-height: 19.2px; text-align: start;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The mascara I have been loving is the <b>Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara</b>, I got the mini size in my stocking on Christmas morning, and I tried it straight away. I fell in love with it straight away, it's so volumizing and lengthening and I didn't find that it went clumpy which is what I've heard it does on other people so I'm very glad about that. I find that it stays on all day with very minimal fall down. I think the packaging is really lovely and it feels very luxurious to hold. The only thing I'd say is it's not (if you know what I mean)! ;)<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The first of three eyeshadow related favourites is the <b>Maybelline The Nudes Palette</b>, for a drugstore product this is very good. The colours are all very nice and neutral and great for everyday use. I do find they are more pigmented with a primer but that's fine, normally I'd use a primer before wearing eyeshadow regardless of if it's more pigmented or not. You can create so many makeup looks with this and the thing I loved about this when got it was that there is a sort of chart on the back of the palette which has so many different combinations that you can try out which also makes this palette very good for people who are starting out with makeup.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My next favourite is the <b>Benefit Stay Don't Stray</b> eyeshadow primer, I find the texture very nice and creamy, it's very long lasting and this is what I've been using underneath the Maybelline palette and they've worked so well together. You hardly need to use any product and when you blend it in on your eyelids it gets rid of any redness and veins. It doesn't make my eyeshadow crease at all which is normally a problem for me when I use other eyeshadow primers. Can't recommend this product enough, I love it.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The last eyeshadow product I have been loving is the <b>No7 Stay Perfect Eyeshadow (middle shade from 'Good Earth' trio)</b>, I got this as a little prize from work because we had a little competition when No7 launched a new mascara and I sold the most on that day. I also got a few other sample bits but this is the one I have been loving. It's a silvery shimmery colour and it looks beautiful all over the lid either on it's own or paired with other shades. When I'm in rush getting ready I will just apply this all over the lid and it just looks like you've spent a lot more time on your makeup which is great because in reality you've only spent about 5 minutes on it. I'm not sure that you can buy this shade on it's own but you can get in the Good Earth trio from No7. I haven't got the trio but I am so tempted because the other colours are so pretty and they compliment this shade so well!</div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Skincare is something I'm not very good at doing, I don't currently have a skincare routine but this year I am definitely going to try have a solid routine that I do most nights, if not every night. Nearer the end of the year I got the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish after all the hype that was around that product and I can definitely say it lives up to the hype. I love this product and it is going to be a firm favourite during 2016 as well. Even just using this product once I could see that my skin looked so much clearer. I'm very lucky in the sense that I don't get too many spots or blemishes often so I can't say if it clears up spots well but it definitely cleanses your skin and keeps it fresh so that the likeliness of a spot or blemish appearing is less. I have also been using the Garnier Micellar Water all year round to take off my make-up before I go to bed and this is just amazing, it takes off my make-up so well and quickly too. I must've used up at least 4/5 bottles of this during 2015 which shows how good it is and how much I like it. I will continue to buy this this year until I find something that works better for me. I feel like I should be talking about a face moisturiser in this post but I've tried a few this year and none of them have really stood out to me at all which is a shame. If you have any good moisturiser recommendations I love to hear what they are so I can try them out and see if they work for me.<br />
<br /></div>

Because this post seems a little bit on the short side I thought I'd talk about a body lotion that I have been loving this year and it's the Zoella Creamy Madly Dreamy. Honestly I didn't have high hopes for any of the Zoella Beauty collection when it was announced (well actually I did but I definitely didn't think it would be as good as I hoped) so when I tried the body lotion I was happily surprised. You need the tiniest bit as a little goes a long way but it is so moisturising and once it's rubbed into the skin you cannot feel it at all. It just leaves your skin feeling so soft and moisturised which is lovely. I use this most mornings when I am getting ready and also whenever I have a shower I use this straight after when my skin is a little damp so my skin soaks up more moisture making it feel extra soft!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Let me know what you're favourite skincare products have been this year. Have they been the same as mine? Or do you have different favourites that you think I should try?</div>

<br />
When it comes to lipsticks for me, I am very much someone who will stick to brands and formulas that I know I like so there isn't a huge variety in the ones that have stood out for me this year. Originally when going through my lipsticks to see which ones I had been loving all year round it was quite difficult narrowing it down, I did have about 14 different lipsticks in the list but I managed to cut that in half somehow to the ones I really have loved this year. The first of three L'oreal lipsticks is the <b>L'oreal Color Riche in Blake's Red</b>, this is probably my all time favourite red shade, I love it, it's not a bright red which is what I'm drawn to, it's more of a darker red which I think suits me and my skin tone better. It's a lovely matte shade which isn't too drying and it does last all day with minimal touch ups needed. The next in the trio of L'oreal lipstick loves is the <b>L'oreal Color Riche in Julianne's Nude</b>, this has been my go-to nude this year, it is more of a pink shade of nude but I love it, it goes really well with any make-up look and it's just the easiest lipstick to just throw on and complete a makeup look. Again the formula is so creamy and lovely to apply, this one though since it isn't matte I do find that you have to reapply a few times throughout the day but that doesn't bother me at all. the last L'oreal lipstick is the <b>L'oreal Color Riche in 640 Erotique</b>, I'm not quite sure what to describe this shade as, it's sort of a darker nude with I tinge of brown in it but then there's something else which I'm not sure what it is but there's something else. This is like the Blake's Red, it's a matte which isn't too drying, but you do have to reapply a couple times throughout the day since I find this one fades quicker than Blake's Red although I think that's probably more to do with the fact I'm a lot more careful when wearing a red lip because I'd rather not have it smudged all over my face whereas with a nude you wouldn't be able to tell. The next lipstick I have been loving is the <b>Nars Audacious in Barbara</b>, this was he first more expensive lipstick that wasn't a Mac one so it was really nice to try something a little bit different so I wanted to get a shade that wasn't like any I already had but also one that was really wearable as an everyday shade as well and I think I chose well considering I only had the Internet to research colours and swatches. It's a matte nude colour with sort of greyish undertones, it looks a lot different on the lips than it does in the bullet and swatches but it is still a really lovely shade. It's also matte which means it is a little bit more drying but I find its still quite creamy and easy to apply. I also love the packaging I think it's very sleek and I love that it's magnetic as well, I think it's really satisfying when it clicks shut. The <b>Rimmel Kate 107 </b>has been my favourite reddish berry shade this year, it was my go to throughout Autumn, it is so creamy and it feels so light on the lips that I don't feel that I have lipstick on, it almost feels like a lip balm. The <b>Rimmel Kate 03 </b>lipstick is the second Rimmel Kate lipstick I have loved this year, it's a lovely nude which is only slightly different to the other nudes I have mentioned but I thought I'd put it in because it's one I have worn regularly throughout the year, I definitely think you need a shade like this in your lipstick collection, it's just so easy to wear and looks great with all make-up looks. The last lipstick I have loved this year is <b>Mac Twig</b>, I got this in duty free when I went on holiday in August, I was toying between this and another which I can't remember the name of but I am so glad I got this one, it is sort of along the same lines as Velvet Teddy which I also do want but at the same time don't want purely because of the hype around this and the 'you only wear this because Kylie Jenner wear it' sort of vibe. I love this lipstick though, the shade is lovely and wearable, it's a dark nude brownish-pink colour and it's not matte although it is creamy although not a cremesheen, it's a satin. Again this looks great with most eye make-up looks and is definitely one you should try if you are looking for a new Mac lipstick.<br />

(if you see this I realise I labelled the L'oreal lipstick in '670 erotique' incorrectly, it is actually 640 but I couldn't be bothered to re-edit the photo so yes it's wrong I do realise)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
I have been loving two foundations this year, the first is the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation, it makes my skin look really glowy and radiant. It applies like a dream, I use a Real Techniques Bold Metals brush in 300 and it blends so nicely. The finish is great and you can't feel it on your skin at all it's very lightweight and the coverage is good, it covers up all my redness and most of my blemishes. The only thing about this is that it doesn't come with a pump, I hate it when foundations come without a pump because you just end up using too much and it gets messy. Regardless of that I will continue to repurchase this foundation because I love it but seriously Nars, get on that pump situation!<br />
<br />
The other foundation I have been loving is the Mac Studio Fix Foundation, I used this at the beginning of the year until it ran out then I got my Nars one and used that until I finally repurchased this and since then I have been switching between this and the Nars one. This is a very full coverage foundation, and I'll use this over Sheer Glow when my skin is especially bad and I've got a few more spots and blemishes that usual. It's definitely long lasting and the quality is just that good that it's one I will never not have in my makeup collection. Again, like Sheer Glow it doesn't come with a pump which is annoying but it's really the only con to this foundation.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have also been loving two concealers this year, the first is the Mac Pro Longwear Concealer, I got this in duty free when I went on holiday in August and I've been using this everyday since. I am quite surprised how long it's lasted because I still have over half of this left! This is such a full coverage concealer, I honestly have the worst under eye circles because I just don't sleep and this just covers them up and makes me look so awake and freshed faced. It blends so easily and lasts all day. It doesn't crease on me, it just stays as it is all day! When I first got this I found that I was using too much and more was coming out the pump than I needed so I got a little pot that was used for a sample I had before and put three pumps in there and I find that it lasts 4 or 5 days which is good because I'm not wasting any product at all.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The second concealer I have been loving is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer, it's a very brightening concealer and it has little shimmer particles in it which makes it very glowy which is great for use under the eyes as it brightens that area up really nicely. It is definitely very good if you are into strobing which I did go through a phase of. I really like this, it's so easy to blend and the coverage is good and I find that it last a long time as well, so it's an all round good concealer. It's so cheap as well so even if you've never tried it before you can't really go too wrong and it's not a massive waste if you don't love it.<br />
<br />
My next and last base favourite is The Body Shop Instablur primer, I love this primer it's the best one I've found and used and I've loved it throughout the whole year, it's probably the only one I've used consistently and every time I've used something else I've gone back to this because it just works better for me. It keeps my makeup on all day and blurs out my pores so well! It's so cheap and affordable as well so I will continue to repurchase this. The texture of this is like a gel when you apply which is what I really like about it.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The first eye product I have been loving this year is the <b>Maybelline Color Tattoo in On and On Bronze</b>, it's the only eye product I have used consistently throughout the whole year, and although the other products I have loved this year have been my favourites as a whole I either hadn't started using them until half way though the year or just hadn't discovered them yet. Anyway the color On and On Bronze is the perfect colour for me, I love all the bronze and gold like shades and this one is just a beautiful colour for all over the lid but also as a base for other eyeshadows, the texture is so creamy and easy to blend, I love it. The mascara that has been my favourite this year is the <b>Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara</b>, it makes my lashes look so full which I love but it also lengthens. I don't find that throughout the day that I have any fall down and I don't ever get the black dots of mascara half way down my face after wearing it for a few hours which is great. 2015 was the year I really got into wearing eyeshadow, before I just couldn't be bothered and I wasn't very good at it (not that I am now I'm just a lot better than I was) but the palette I have loved was the <b>Stila In The Light Eyeshadow Palette</b>, I love all the shades in this, they are all so wearable, apart from the blue one maybe but that looks great if you're going out and want something a bit more special. I love that it comes with an eyeliner as well, that is also great, one of the best eyeliners I've tried and it lasts a long time as well. The last eye product I have been loving is the <b>L'oreal Super liner</b>, this is just such a black liquid liner, the nib is quite thin so it's easy to apply and this has really helped me with my winged liner skills although I don't wing it out often as on me I prefer non winged eyeliner looks. It lasts a long time and it doesn't fade throughout the day either so this is just an all round good eyeliner.<br />

There have been a few face products this year that have really stood out to me, two being from the same brand which is theBalm, the first being the Mary-Lou Manizer and the other Bahama Mama. These are the only products I have tried from theBalm but I am so impressed and I am definitely going to venture out further and purchase a few more different products to try out. The<b> Mary-Lou Manizer</b> is such a beautiful champagne shade, it's so smooth and buttery in texture, and is so pigmented. I have used this nearly every day since I got this, no other highlighter has come close! <b>Bahama Mama </b>is such a nice bronzer to use, it's the perfect colour and doesn't leave you looking an orange mess but it doesn't make you look muddy either which you can get in some bronzers, it just gives off a really nice sun kissed glowy bronzy look. It is so easy to blend and the texture is so soft and easy to work with. I love it. My last go-to face product this year has been the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Seductive Pink, I am not an avid wearer of blusher, normally I just stick to bronzer and highlighter just because I prefer the way it looks and I don't like to go all out on my make-up all the time but when I do this blush is the one I always gravitate towards, it gives a nice flush to the cheeks and I like that it's not matte so it gives a slight gleam to the cheeks which looks lovely. These blushers are some of the best formulas I've tried so I definitely want to get more and try out different shades in the range.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
There is always going to be new products that I'd like to try, with so many products and brands out there is never going to be a time where there isn't one particular product you want to try out. There are plenty of products that I'd love to try out but these are just a few that I really want to try this year and if I do end up getting any I will be doing first impressions or reviews so look out for them if you're interested.<br />
<br />
So the product I'd most like to try is the <b>Becca Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop</b>, I am obsessed with highlighters, they are by far my favourite product and this has been so hyped up by everyone. I have not seen a bad review about this product! Again when I first heard Tanya Burr talking about the <b>By Terry Ombre Blackstar</b> I decided that was a product that sounded really up my street and the shade that looks perfect for me in Bronze Moon, it's so pretty! The <b>Nars Laguna Bronzer</b> is something that I have wanted for so long but put off buying because it's quite expensive but I decided this year is the year I have to try it. One product I've seen a lot of recently is the <b>Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation</b>, I only have one Charlotte Tilbury product but I definitely want to branch out and try a few more products from that brand because I haven't heard a bad thing about it and the packaging of every product is so beautiful. Another product from Charlotte Tilbury is the <b>Filmstar Bronze and Glow </b>which is another really hyped product, although I haven't heard much about it recently it is still one I definitely want to try out. Then we've got the <b>Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream</b> which I really want because my lips get so dry and chapped and this would just really help stop them from being so dry all the time. The <b>Zoeva Rose Golden Eyeshadow Palette </b>is one of the most beautiful palettes I've seen, I've read so many reviews on it and it just makes me want it even more and with it being such a reasonable price as well it is one I definitely need to hurry up and get my hands on! And lastly is the <b>Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer</b>, this is another one I've wanted to try for so long but was always put off it since there is not a Nars store anywhere near where I live and I wanted to tests the shades out before I got it but I think I might just go for it and guess the shade from what other people use and just hope that I get a good match!<b> </b><br />

What products are you looking to try out this year?</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
A year ago today, I restarted my blog again. I completely restarted everything, I deleted every post, which I now regret because I'd love to go back and read them and see how far I've come, I changed my theme, the blog name, everything. I made it my goal to post regularly and I think I did really well up until the beginning of August which is when I had so many blog posts written and scheduled to go up throughout August so while I was on holiday there would be content up on the blog, but because I was away for the majority of the month I couldn't write throughout and when I came back I just couldn't find the motivation to get back into it. I really did enjoy it so I'm going to make it my aim to get back into it again this year, but I'm not going to put any pressure on myself and have a set schedule or days when I put posts up, they will go up as and when I feel like they should.<br />
<br />
I don't want to set goals for my blog but I want by the end of the year to reach 500 followers on bloglovin, that would be my ultimate goal and honestly I don't think it will happen, if it does great but if it doesn't I won't be too bothered because it's not a huge deal. One thing I'd like to improve on is my photography, I love taking photos and I don't think my photos are as good as they can be. They are at the moment only taken on an iPhone though so I would love this year to get a big camera to take lots of photos on instead of using my phone. I also want to get some props as well to use in the photos instead of it being plain white like I do at the moment, which I do like as it's very minimalistic but in some I want it to be a bit more busy and not so boring.<br />
<br />
I just want to say a massive thank you to anyone who has read or commented on my blog ever, it really makes me happy when I get a nice comment and I really appreciate it. Have a Happy New Year everyone!!</div>

I love watching youtube videos and in my spare time (apart from blogging) I am usually watching a youtube video. I am subscribed to over 150 channels so I thought I'd whittle it down to 50 and tell you the ones that I really do love. I am going down my subscription list so it's in no particular order to who I like watching best. Also I'm not doing it as specific channels, I'm doing it as the people because most likely if they have more than one channel then I'll love all of them the same.</div>

I got a sample of this when I made an online shop and it was a product that I had wanted to try for a while but never got round to buying it so when I saw the sample I couldn't wait to try it out. I used it once and knew I had to go out and buy the full size! I'm not one for using too much heat on my hair, I usually blow dry it after I have a shower unless I wash it the night before which I would put it in plaits and let it fry overnight. When it is dry, unless I straighten it, it's always frizzy and has lots of flyaways but this product really helps prevent the look of frizziness. I just put one to two pumps onto the tips of my fingers and the rub my fingertips together to create a bit of warmth within the product and then run my fingers through my hair.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I use this along with the shampoo and conditioner in the same range, and they all smell so delicious! With this product you can definitely tell when you've used it because your hair feels so much softer and looks so shiny and healthy but it doesn't feel greasy which is something you get quite often with hair oils. This comes in at £9.99 a bottle and for how many times you can use this, it's definitely worth it. You only need 1-2 pumps depending on how long your hair is, it's is also super lightweight which is great because it doesn't weigh your hair down. It says lasts up to 72 hours, I don't agree with this, it lasts 24 hours at most, and I find that I do need to reapply it every day but overall I really really like this product and I will be buying another one when I run out!</div>

Last time I went into Primark I thought I'd have a quick look at their makeup, I didn't think any of it would be any good but I picked up a couple of their lip liners anyway just to try them out and at £1 each I thought why not.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQiVY9gbSazR-P9zq_L4oCL6HlcYLk0uBRsAgIsGDWE2zuuKEsR4YNlRUfjd6H1Pwi0v2vMPj3YInnYv2iIR98XMHOOknQC5O9B6nyZB709iGtCyz4NgJgKE2CxQ1OtU1LaXtGFZ-CAVLK/s1600/primark+lip+liners.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="479" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQiVY9gbSazR-P9zq_L4oCL6HlcYLk0uBRsAgIsGDWE2zuuKEsR4YNlRUfjd6H1Pwi0v2vMPj3YInnYv2iIR98XMHOOknQC5O9B6nyZB709iGtCyz4NgJgKE2CxQ1OtU1LaXtGFZ-CAVLK/s640/primark+lip+liners.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
To my surprise they are actually quite good, they're not very creamy and they can be a bit drying but they are so long lasting, you can put it under your lipstick and it will last a good 6/7 hours. It also helps your lipstick to last longer as well. The pigmentation isn't great and you do have to go over it a couple of times to make it stand out but once you're there the colour looks really nice. When I was in Primark I picked up the red one which I like wearing under Julianne's Red by L'oreal and the darkish nude that sort of looks like a shade Kylie Jenner would wear which I like wearing under Rimmel 08 or Nars Audacious in Barbara. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I would definitely recommend these if you're looking for cheap lip liners, the colour selection isn't the biggest but the colours there are gorgeous. I think at £1 you can't really go wrong with these and I am definitely going to pick up a few more makeup bits from there to see if they are as good. </div>

I may have gone slightly crazy at the Mac and YSL counter in duty free but let's be honest the makeup is so much cheaper there and I wanted to treat myself.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSg_8LdQ6hyphenhyphenTgsYRpwoKk5oBN9yDV8UuNm0-e62FRt6G0xwnlxlUBmNXuNwPIzzLTTAt0miGuJhDOHNGkhTIxo8P4FhJAZiCtGtdE7eJ6MNNaFvhieL-bs8WSyWW5Oxh_MfX8xYJBuk2h7/s1600/duty+free.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSg_8LdQ6hyphenhyphenTgsYRpwoKk5oBN9yDV8UuNm0-e62FRt6G0xwnlxlUBmNXuNwPIzzLTTAt0miGuJhDOHNGkhTIxo8P4FhJAZiCtGtdE7eJ6MNNaFvhieL-bs8WSyWW5Oxh_MfX8xYJBuk2h7/s1600/duty+free.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I went to the Mac counter first because I knew it was there (whereas I couldn't remember if the YSL was at the North terminal or not) and first I picked up the Prolongwear Concealer in NC15, I have always wanted to try this out because of the hype it gets by so many people, I did use it whilst on holiday and I have to say it is really really good, I may do a review sometime soon because I love it. The next thing I picked up was the Paint pot in the shade Painterly, this was another product I have wanted to try out for so long because it is talked about a lot and it always looked like a good base for eyeshadow and even on its own to cancel out veins on your eyelids. I have used this once so far and it definitely does a good job at covering up veins on my eyelids which is great because I've not found a product that will actually conceal them! Then of course I went to the lipstick counter and picked up two lipsticks to add to my collection, I got Mehr which is a lovely dark nude colour and Twig which is sort of similar. I love both of these lipsticks and I feel this sort of shade and formula is what suits me the best.<br />
<br />
I then headed over to the YSL counter 'heart eyes emoji' and everything is so pretty, I bought two of the Rouge Volupte lipsticks in the shades 1 and 9 which were ones I've had my eye on every time I've been into Debenhams! What I didn't know is that number 1 was apparently being discontinued so that pretty made up my mind whether I was getting it or not! I don't have an excuse for number 9 but it was just so lovely I didn't want to leave it behind! I will be doing a whole post dedicated to these lipsticks because all I want to do is take countless photos of these beauties because the packaging is so stunning and photogenic!<br />

This was one of the first proper highlighters I ever owned and it's definitely one of my all time favourites! I got it for Christmas last year and I had a choice between this and the Girl Meets Pearl one also by Benefit but I chose this one purely because the shade was much more champagne coloured and it was in a stick formula as opposed to a liquid one which was similar to something I already had! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think the formulation of this is really nice, it's so creamy and easy to blend in once applied and it gives a nice glow to your face without it being really obvious. This is definitely one you can build on though so if you were wanting a slightly more highlighted face then you can definitely do that by just adding a bit more too your cheekbones. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
One bad thing about this product is the packaging, I hate how big and bulky it is because it makes it so hard to store with all my other highlighters and also a pain if you're travelling and want to take this with you. Another thing I'm not sure about is that sponge at the bottom which quite frankly is utter rubbish, it's way too small to blend in any product and even if it was bigger it wouldn't be any better at blending it in which by the way is awful, they should definitely look into changing it or just removing it all together because it is useless! Apart from that I think the packaging is really pretty and is so easy to take photos of, I love the lilac purple shade and the lightbulb is kinda cool!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Overall I really love this product and when I run out I will definitely pick up another one! Definitely recommend it if you're looking to buy a new highlighter!</div>

I have to say this was really hard to get it down to just 5. Mascara was the first product I ever used, and since I started using it I have tested out so many mascara's, some being a lot better than others! In the future I might do a part 2 or split it into drugstore and high end because I love a lot of mascara's!<br />

<br />
First up is the newest in my collection, it's the Benefit Roller Lash, I'm sure the whole blogging community know about this mascara and have either tried it themselves or at least read a review on this mascara. It's so lengthening and you definitely don't have to use eyelash curlers because this curls your lashes for you. It lasts forever and doesn't flake off throughout the day or anything, this is just an all round great mascara and I can't recommend it enough.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Next is an offering from Maybelline, it's my trusty The Falsies, this was one of the first mascara's I ever used and I have gone back to it every single time, I must've gone through at least seven tubes of this it's incredible. It's so voluminous and lengthening and like it's name it suggests, it definitely looks like you have false eyelashes on. I think this is the best drugstore mascara out there, big claim I know but I've tried so many different ones out and none of them have compared to this one.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I love the Max Factor False Lash Effect, it definitely makes my lashes really thick and voluminous but the only thing is that it doesn't make my lashes look any longer which is what I normally go for in a mascara but because it makes my lashes look so thick I'm not too bothered. I've never had a mascara make my lashes look so voluminous so the fact is doesn't lengthen them doesn't bother me too much.<br />
<br />
This is a mascara that has come into my collection quite recently, it's the Maybelline Lash Sensational, I've heard a few people talking about this and I thought I would see what the hype was about and it is insane! It does everything I want my mascara to do, it's doesn't make my lashes clumpy and I just love it a lot!<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Last up is another offering from Benefit, it's the They're Real mascara, this isn't quite as good as Roller Lash but it's still incredible, It lengthens, it voluminses, it's everything. I hate that it's so hard to get off but that does mean that it's very long lasting. If I'm going to be out all day then this is the mascara I will use because I know it won't flake off and end up being all down my face by the end of the day!</div>

Makeup Revolution is a brand that has hugely impressed the whole blogger community, their products have never disappointed me and this product was next on my list to try out. It's their Pro Fix Amazing Makeup Fixing Spray, so the idea of this is to spray it a couple of times over your face after you applied your makeup and it's meant to keep your makeup in place with no smudging or fading for up to 12 hours.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have to say I am hugely impressed with this, I first tried it out on a hot sunny day and I went on with my day how I usually would. Normally my makeup would melt down my face and look horrendous by the end of the day so when I looked in the mirror before I took my makeup off I was so surprised! My makeup looked almost as good it did when I applied it, apart from slight oiliness around my t-zone which I would usually just touch up with a bit of powder. I was still sceptical at this point to whether it was the fixing spray or my foundation (I used a different foundation than I usually would) so the next day I made sure I only sprayed it on half of my face, and at the end of the day half my face had melted and looked horrible and the other half looked pretty good if I do say so myself!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have used this every single day since I bought it and for only £5 this product is insane! I have not tried the Urban Decay setting spray but I don't think I will be purchasing that anytime soon because this one does the job! I definitely recommend this if you have problems with makeup staying on your face in hot weather and for £5 you can't really go wrong can you?!</div>

I bought this palette back in May and since then this has been my go-to palette. The thing I loved about this palette is the colour range, every shade is so neutral and there is the perfect balance between shimmer and matte shades, with 6 being shimmery and 4 being matte. The consistency of these shadows are amazing, they are so soft and creamy which makes them a dream to blend. They are also extremely highly pigmented and I love the Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner that it comes with. It's in the shade 'Damsel' which is a dark matte brown and it's perfect if you want your makeup to look a little bit softer than if you were to use a pure black shade. This eyeliner does not budge, it is incredible but it means that if you make a mistake you cannot reactify it without ruining your makeup, believe me I tried.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
You can create so many natural looks with this, but you are also able to make it more of a nighttime look with some of the darker shades. The shade 'Kitten' is the perfect for the inner corner and I love 'Sunset' which is a beautiful coppery shimmer shade. The only colour I don't think I'll get much wear out of is 'Night Sky' which is a shimmery blue/grey colour because I'm much more into neutral eyeshadows and I think they suit me a lot more than if I had colour on my eyelids. I think this palette is such good value for money, it retails at £25 for 10 eyeshadows plus a waterproof eyeliner in the shade 'Damsel' which on it's own I think is £16 so to get all of this for £25 is pretty amazing if you ask me!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
You can buy this palette in some Boots stores, my local one doesn't sell Stila so I got this off the ASOS website but you can also get this on LookFantastic and FeelUnique.</div>

The Mary-Lou Manizer is a product I have wanted to try out for so long now and finally when Kathleen Lights said it was one of her favourite highlighters I knew I had to get it. I've had it for about 2 months now and I can't remember the last time I did my makeup without using this!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
If you're looking for a more natural highlight this one is not for you! It's very noticeable once you've got it on but it's not glittery or shimmery, it's just pure glow. It's very finely milled and it feels so buttery and smooth on the skin which makes it a dream to blend. I apply this to the tops of my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, my cupids bow, my inner corner and sometimes on my chin if I'm really going for a glowy look. I think this is the most perfect champagne highlight and if you don't have it, you need it. Also can we just talk about the packaging for a second!? It's so cute, and it feels like such good quality, I also love that it has a mirror inside as well, that's always nice!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
As with a lot of highlighters, a little goes a long way and even with using this product everyday it would last at least a year, so you may have to pay nearly £20 for it but it's well worth it for the quality and the amount you get, not forgetting that there are plenty of other highlighters out there for double the price which are half as good. When I run out of this I will definitely be repurchasing another one as this is holy grail status!</div>

Obviously being on a plane your skin can become really dry because of the air pressure so wearing makeup is not the best thing to do as you should let your skin breathe but I wanted to have a little bit of coverage and just something on my face to stop me looking so dead.<br />

I'm going on holiday in a week's time and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to tell you what makeup I will be taking with me. Obviously you don't want to be taking too much but if you're like me and want to take absolutely everything you own then this post might be helpful for you. I've split it up into categories to help me decide what I would actually use whilst away.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The first thing is foundation, I decided to bring two foundations with me, the <b>Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation</b> because it's really glowy and looks amazing when the sun is out and I've also chosen to bring my <b>Nars Sheer Glow </b>which I know won't be my shade by the end of my holiday but for the first few days it will be perfect. For concealer I've gone for my trusty <b>Collection Lasting Perfection</b>, you cannot go wrong with this concealer it is amazing! I'll also take my <b>Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer</b> because I love that for a more radiant glow under my eyes. The primer I have chosen to bring with me is my <b>Benefit Porefessional</b>, because my makeup always seems to look so flawless when I use this. The powder I'm taking with me is my <b>Rimmel Stay Matte</b>, it's my all-time favourite powder and keeps me from looking shiny.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQ_6kSSl6P1q-L9sdYpbeahprgY3LOd4RyjkfpTtD9uC-Q0FdyeRgdzqiV2TCbHMHTvgjFNBMUsOqRYHGCq7_ME4ll8nIdeCrjr6EVR6ZYxzjeOkvjnIe1CYKvy1_2t0k9AeQYMyh3fcrL/s1600/travel+face.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQ_6kSSl6P1q-L9sdYpbeahprgY3LOd4RyjkfpTtD9uC-Q0FdyeRgdzqiV2TCbHMHTvgjFNBMUsOqRYHGCq7_ME4ll8nIdeCrjr6EVR6ZYxzjeOkvjnIe1CYKvy1_2t0k9AeQYMyh3fcrL/s640/travel+face.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I have chosen to bring two bronzers with me, the first is <b>Benefit Hoola</b>, I can't not take this with me I love it! The second is my <b>Body Shop Honey Bronzer</b> as it gives a much more natural looking bronze to my face. Highlighters are some of my favourite makeup products and this was by far the hardest section to pick from because I love each and every one I own the same amount, I had to go with three different ones, these are my <b>Mac Soft and Gentle</b>, <b>theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer</b> and <b>Benefit Watts Up</b>, these are just incredible and I think if I hadn't bought either of these three then halfway through my holiday I would be wishing I had bought them! Onto blushers, I have chosen to bring my <b>Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Seductive Pink</b>, I think this is the perfect pink shade for the cheeks and would look lovely when I have a tan. I also am bringing my <b>Benefit Rockateur</b>, which I love and is my all-time favourite blush.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><br /></b>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL8WCvCQ8xBxsM7QoffugnehZ8WiS2eMdK1s-447eXkOsApsP_sb_40c-9ugjf2MBk3q50icOefrW6dpDYi934bRgxPZbmnKrkLm8DsRxl1fADLkEImfq3Id6UijSm6fieIrGFrZZe6vfc/s1600/travel+makeup.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiL8WCvCQ8xBxsM7QoffugnehZ8WiS2eMdK1s-447eXkOsApsP_sb_40c-9ugjf2MBk3q50icOefrW6dpDYi934bRgxPZbmnKrkLm8DsRxl1fADLkEImfq3Id6UijSm6fieIrGFrZZe6vfc/s640/travel+makeup.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<b><br /></b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Choosing mascara's was quite easy for me, I think I've used both these mascara's and nothing else for the past two or three months and they are the <b>Maybelline The Falsies</b> and <b>Benefit Rollerlash</b>, both give so much volume and length to my lashes and they make them look amazing! The eyeliners I am taking are the <b>Benefit Push Up Liner</b>, <b>Topshop Liquid Liner</b> and the <b>Maybelline Big Eyes</b>, a mixture of all gel, liquid and pencil formula there which I use generally on a day-to-day basis anyway. I'm not going to be taking any single eyeshadows with me because I'm taking two palettes instead and in there I will have every colour that I need. I'm taking my <b>Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette </b>and my <b>Stila In The Light</b> palette, both are quite different palettes and have a range of different colours in them. For cream eyeshadows I am taking my all-time favourite one which is the <b>Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze</b>, I literally wear this colour most days when I'm in a rush or just as a quick get up and go shade, it's perfect. For brows I am going to be taking my <b>Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Permanent Taupe</b>, it's the perfect colour for my brows and I love it. To set that I will be using my <b>Benefit Gimme Brow</b>.</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Choosing lipsticks was by far the hardest, I split it into four categories; red, pink, nude and coral. I have chosen to take two colours from each category which may be a little bit ridiculous but I know in my mind that I can justify it because I'm such an undecided person and I like to have plenty of choices in lip colour. The red shades I have chosen are <b>Mac Russian Red</b> and <b>L'Oreal Color Riche in Julianne's Red</b>, I did want to bring my L'Oreal Color Riche in Blake's Red as well but that is so similar to Mac Russian Red so there would have been no point. The pink lipsticks I have chosen is <b>Mac's Speak Louder</b> and <b>L'Oreal Color Riche in Julianne's Nude</b>, Speak Louder is sort of a darker pink and Julianne's Nude is an everyday pink shade. Next up is nude lipsticks, I have chosen my <b>Nars Audacious Lipstick in Barbara</b> and my <b>Topshop Lipstick in Nevada</b>, Barbara is a darker nude shade a little bit like the 'Kylie Jenner lip' and Nevada is more of a lighter true nude shade. The coral shades I have chosen is <b>Revlon's Kiss Me Coral</b> and <b>Mac's Coral Bliss</b>, Kiss Me Coral is definitely more of an orange than Coral Bliss which is a lot lighter and corally. I have also decided that eight lipsticks is not enough and that I can't go without my <b>Rimmel 107</b> and <b>Rimmel 03</b> so I have decided to take them as well. Away from lipsticks slightly, the lipglosses I have chosen to take with me are my <b>Urban Decay Lipgloss in Liar</b> and my <b>Tanya Burr Lipgloss in Picnic in the Park</b>.<br />

That is everything that I'll be taking with me in my travel makeup bag, apart from makeup brushes which will be the usual Real Techniques and Zoeva.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here is my August wishlist for you! I just want to apologise for my lack of interaction on social media this month, I have a very busy month with two holidays, a trip to Newcastle and a wedding to attend!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj15gdE9VTaWNoKE1Fh3FgC_UOMMFswqBz1PuDj7Fh9y3IZLWMawEewN6fEgC2GCI-syJqyNk2A9ykHB-PEEa9r3_269hciPtpCgyT6OUJMphablTRkvY9cXaiuenC4MGQ-nGvDIA9L-tim/s1600/august+wishlist.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj15gdE9VTaWNoKE1Fh3FgC_UOMMFswqBz1PuDj7Fh9y3IZLWMawEewN6fEgC2GCI-syJqyNk2A9ykHB-PEEa9r3_269hciPtpCgyT6OUJMphablTRkvY9cXaiuenC4MGQ-nGvDIA9L-tim/s1600/august+wishlist.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I am really intrigued by The Library of Fragrance, I love the idea of the different, unusual scents they do and I would love to try a few out but the only thing I'm wary about is that they don't sell them anywhere that I know of so I can go test them out and see which ones I like but I definitely want to try this brand out.<br />
<br />
I have been lusting over the Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick in Bitch Perfect, I think Sammi from BeautyCrush mentioned this when she was doing Vlune and ever since then I have wanted this lipstick, it's looks the perfect everyday shade and I love it. Also I haven't got anything from Charlotte Tilbury so I would love to try them out and the packaging for everything is so beautiful I can't cope.<br />
<br />
Next thing I am lusting over is the Oliver Bonas Alphabet 'H', I just think this is a beautiful decoration that would be perfect sitting there on a shelf or on your desk or something, I love it and the fact it is rose gold makes me want it even more!<br />
<br />
The last thing on my wishlist is from another brand that I have never tried anything from is the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water, I have heard lots about this and I think this would be so much easier than typical primers you apply on your face. A spritz of this would be so quick and easy.</div>

It's coming to the end of July now which means it's time to round up my favourites of this month and tell you what they are:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxi9P9zyUgCFL35ygv8eS8TS9133Pny15yrrf0Y2aDxi_ts_yHudTKDbeyNOIv9McMcpjXbw33pwq5FwNyTrLzmGlQBbDF00ZvW_5kkmbAJB7AKnkHVi0aa7TB_i86OuDnHprZTMdVLTiD/s1600/july+favourites.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="478" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxi9P9zyUgCFL35ygv8eS8TS9133Pny15yrrf0Y2aDxi_ts_yHudTKDbeyNOIv9McMcpjXbw33pwq5FwNyTrLzmGlQBbDF00ZvW_5kkmbAJB7AKnkHVi0aa7TB_i86OuDnHprZTMdVLTiD/s640/july+favourites.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
The first thing I have been loving this month is the Soap and Glory The Breakfast Scrub, this scrub smells delicious, it smells of a mixture of banana, almond and honey which let me tell you is one of the best combination of smells ever, I love it. It's made with oats, shea butter and sugar which makes your body feel so smooth after you've used it. It's a sugar scrub which I much prefer to salt scrubs as it's a lot more gentle on the skin. I also find a little goes a long way with this product and honestly you need a lot less than you first think you do when you use this product for the first time.<br />
<br />
The next thing I have been loving is the Topshop Glow Highlighter, I wanted to get this in the rose gold limited edition packaging but they were all sold out in the store where I live which I was pretty gutted about I'm not gonna lie but I got it anyway and I love it, it's such a creamy texture that blends like a dream. It's so smooth and you only need a small amount of product on your finger and it leaves you with a nice glow on the tops of your cheekbones.<br />
<br />
Another Topshop product I have been loving is the Lipstick in Innocent, this one I did manage to get in the limited edition rose gold packaging. Obviously you all know how great Topshop lipsticks are but I really like this colour at the moment and it's what I have been reaching for the past couple weeks. It's a very pink shade with almost lilac undertones in it which I find quite unusual and I have nothing like this in my ever growing collection of lipsticks.<br />
<br />
This next favourite is The Body Shop Honey Bronzer which I actually did a full review on here if you want to have a look but I just think this is the perfect natural bronzer for people with pale skin. It doesn't look orange at all when you apply it and you just can't go overboard with this because it's so natural. I also think the packaging is really nice and it also smells really nice as well.<br />
<br />
The next favourite is the Stila In The Light Palette, I used this palette for my makeup for my prom and I think it's perfect for a natural look that you can then transform into something a bit more fancy and evening appropriate. I love the shade Kitten for my inner corner highlight and I am in love with the eyeliner, it's in the shade 'Damsel' which is a lovely deep brown colour which I wouldn't usually go for because I normally just stick to black but I love this colour and I have been using it way more than I've been using black, it's a lot softer and natural looking although I think I might pick up this eyeliner in the black colour because I love the formula so much and it's so long lasting.<br />
<br />
My last favourite is in fact a person, I have been loving Kathleen Lights this month, and I love her all months but this month especially her YouTube videos are the ones I have been clicking on first, I think she's a beautiful person inside and out and she is one of the most down to earth youtubers there are. I have been loving her makeup stash videos, mainly because I'm nosey and want to know all of the makeup she owns but also because they are usually long chatty videos which are my favourite of hers to watch. Only bad thing is that everything she talks about I want which is not great for my bank balance!<br />
<br />
What have been your favourites this month?</div>

I'm going on holiday in just under two weeks time so I thought it would be a great idea to tell you my travel essentials for when I go on holiday. I'm going on a plane so obviously I won't have wifi so I can't spend the entire flight on twitter.. I would if I could but I can't so I'm going to need a few things to keep me entertained for a couple of hours. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The first essential is headphones, I will want to listen to music for the majority of the flight so they are a must-have. I will be taking both overhead and in-ear ones because I don't know about you but having the same type of headphones on for a few hours at a time can start to give me a headache and that's the last thing I want when I'm on a plane. The next thing is chewing gum or some sort of chewy sweet, this is because when you take off and land if you're chewing on something your ears are less likely to pop and feel funny, sometimes they still pop but I find it's never as bad if you have something to chew on.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHrAE8l8mzOGYveJ7dN8cjB8jXJVAzSEzFdH3CqPSJyHSisSqa6_-LJeew7jjHyXtqcrKU_NhO6xT48ksvciv9QNXRcY9APTYkqA7RXnUx1rHiITZ74CY_K7r98wQ7rNiVIiOG0Cm2xeAN/s1600/travel+essentials+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHrAE8l8mzOGYveJ7dN8cjB8jXJVAzSEzFdH3CqPSJyHSisSqa6_-LJeew7jjHyXtqcrKU_NhO6xT48ksvciv9QNXRcY9APTYkqA7RXnUx1rHiITZ74CY_K7r98wQ7rNiVIiOG0Cm2xeAN/s640/travel+essentials+1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
One thing I like to take on board is what I call a 'beauty bag' which is sort of where I keep all my bits and bobs that will keep me feeling clean and refreshed. So inside the bag I have a few makeup products because I don't like wearing makeup on the plane because it makes your skin feel so dry and gross so near the end of the flight I like to put on a bit of makeup to make myself look presentable. This would usually include concealer to cover up the dark circles under your eyes, a mascara to open up your eyes, a pencil eyeliner to define your eyes and a bronzer to put colour back into your face. To go with that I would also carry a couple of makeup brushes to help apply the products. Other things that I would include in my 'beauty bag' is hand gel to obviously keep your hands free from bacteria, a moisturiser to moisturise your skin as I mentioned before planes can really dry out your skin. I would also keep a deodorant (not tan aerosol can) and a rollerball perfume just incase you want smell a bit nicer and I would never board a flight without my trusty Carmex lip balm which I have loved since I can remember. It's so moisturising and it also smells amazing!<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5pRH32VHTYeyXQbB9waA-KJWaXc1vHGxUFlHyBwT3djxEv2x48fQvXxM9iRIl5mZacORVWZraUPK1L7vK_EMRX49DKXfgj62ajvcsFMnqjn1wy0enuMVf4igjPXVfL7K4xG_rBLhZ2rp_/s1600/travel+essentials+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5pRH32VHTYeyXQbB9waA-KJWaXc1vHGxUFlHyBwT3djxEv2x48fQvXxM9iRIl5mZacORVWZraUPK1L7vK_EMRX49DKXfgj62ajvcsFMnqjn1wy0enuMVf4igjPXVfL7K4xG_rBLhZ2rp_/s640/travel+essentials+2.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Other things that are essential for flying are cosy socks so your feet keep warm and snuggly, I would also take tissues because you never know when you'll need a tissue! I will also take the book which I am planning to read whilst I'm away incase I want to start it before I'm there. Sunglasses are a must to take in your hand luggage because even though you won't need them on flight if you're going somewhere hot and sunny when you get there you might need them, even if I know I'll be arriving during the night I would always pack sunglasses in my hand luggage so I know I've definitely got them and also because I might just want to get there and go straight to sleep without unpacking so they'll be ready for you in the morning when you have a wander around where you're staying before you do eventually unpack your things. The last essential that I always bring with me is my phone charger, this is sort of the same reason as the sunglasses but also I get really panicky if I think about losing my suitcase, I always have visions of it being put on the wrong flight or something and if one day it did get put on the wrong flight one thing that I would want from my suitcase is my phone charger because I am constantly checking twitter, constantly checking my blog stats, constantly checking instagram, etc.<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoceRWZrkfptsX6TPXeSY25hEKm3oeILHcl7pKWLwOUYBdsiJA8IEofM-lMTyfvJgQPthnp4sKg-Nug3Ryqn4KAL6VPpWuO7KhX-56BQhJ9ftiuLAURvuuLSX1WTZvMd029HILwqmOSX9r/s1600/travel+essentials+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoceRWZrkfptsX6TPXeSY25hEKm3oeILHcl7pKWLwOUYBdsiJA8IEofM-lMTyfvJgQPthnp4sKg-Nug3Ryqn4KAL6VPpWuO7KhX-56BQhJ9ftiuLAURvuuLSX1WTZvMd029HILwqmOSX9r/s640/travel+essentials+3.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So that is all my travel essentials that I would bring on a flight. What are your travel essentials? Are they the same as mine or would you bring something that maybe I haven't mentioned? </div>
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17920663388171293625noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5329796252766369365.post-82105733440305916342015-07-24T14:00:00.000+01:002015-07-24T14:00:05.538+01:00Maybelline Colour Tattoos<div style="text-align: center;">
Maybelline Colour Tattoos are one of my favourite products from the drugstore, the formula of them is so creamy and they last so long on your eyelids. They are great for using as a base but also look amazing when they are used on their own. These products are so cheap as well, drugstore makeup is cheap anyway but you'd expect these to be in the higher price mark of the drugstore yet they are only £4.99 which is incredible for such an amazing product! At the moment I own 5, they are On and On Bronze, Metallic Pomegranate, Chocolate Suede, Permanent Taupe and Eternal Gold, so all quite neutral colours but I just wouldn't wear any of the bright ones like the purple one they do or the blue one. I think the next one I get will be Creamy Beige or maybe Pink Gold.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8NQjCGM1BWX1yz4YxKj2hU35kJ9-R60CiCjKAnbkjEnXykineSERNx8AAhgMYIMijOzBWNJhLZaXe8yf0RNZ7xC_EodkQ7a1SchY_DWw7TgZczEFt2mDFqvqpz36EuDaqyg6GyOYcZj1h/s1600/colour+tattoos.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8NQjCGM1BWX1yz4YxKj2hU35kJ9-R60CiCjKAnbkjEnXykineSERNx8AAhgMYIMijOzBWNJhLZaXe8yf0RNZ7xC_EodkQ7a1SchY_DWw7TgZczEFt2mDFqvqpz36EuDaqyg6GyOYcZj1h/s640/colour+tattoos.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
My all time favourite shade is On and On Bronze which is the one I think everyone loves, it's such a beautiful bronze colour with a bit of shimmer in it. I love using this on it's own as a get up and go sort of thing, but I also love using this with other eyeshadows as a base. It's probably the shade I wear the most out of all of them and I think it's the one that suits me best.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The next one I'm going to talk about it Permanent Taupe, and when I first got this and used it on my eyelids I did not like it at all! I hated the colour on me and it just didn't work as well as any of the other ones I have which was disappointing until one day when I was playing with my makeup and I looked at it and thought lets see what this looks like on my eyebrows. I don't know what made my brain think to do that but I did and it turned out to be the perfect brow shade for me. It did take a couple of times to get my technique right but when I did I loved it. I discovered this a few months ago and it's the only brow product I have used since unless I wanted to go more natural and just use a brow gel. I'm blonde and this works perfectly, so if you have blonde hair and want to try out a new brow product then check this out because it's amazing! I also think if you had darker hair then you could try this out because you can definitely build up the colour and make it darker.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The three that I use but not as often is Metallic Pomegranate, Chocolate Suede and Eternal Gold. Metallic Pomegranate is a really beautiful sort of burgundy shade which I think is perfect for autumn/winter time. It has gold glitter in it which makes me think of Christmas! I think with this shade I'd always go for a bit of extra definition in the crease just to make it stand out a bit more. Chocolate Suede is a rich, chocolatey shade with bits of gold glitter running through it. On the eyes it definitely isn't as pigmented as it looks in the pot, it sort of goes more into a smoky brown shade which is perfect if you want to wear a smoky eye look. I really want to try this as a gel liner, I think it could look quite nice if you had a neutral eye look then wing it out, I'll have to see if it looks alright and report back. Has anyone else tried this? The last Colour Tattoo I will be talking about is Eternal Gold, this is probably my least favourite out of the ones I have, I'm just not sure if the colour works for me but I will keep trying it because it is beautiful in the pot and I do want to love it.<br />
<br />
