June Favourites

I can't believe it's June, I also can't believe it's taken so long to finally get into summer! May in terms of weather was absolutely terrible wasn't it!! I'm just so glad it's finally nice and sunny again.

The first thing I have been loving is the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Seductive Pink, this is such a gorgeous colour and I am in love with it. It is very pigmented and give the skin a beautiful luminous finish. It's a medium pink colour with a hint of gold running through it. The formula is lovely and I definitely need to go and pick up some of the other shades as these are amazing and I love them.

I'm pretty sure I did a full review on this here, it's the Hollister Malaia Perfume and it smells divine, it's perfect for summer as it's light and fresh. I won't tell you the notes and everything because I mentioned that in my review and I don't want to repeat myself but if you want to know more about this perfume then go read my full review on this, I can't recommend this enough though and if you're ever in Hollister or near a Hollister go and give this a whiff!

My next favourite is another one for summer and it's the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation, I have loved this foundation forever and I always get it out when it starts to get warm again because it gives a lovely, dewy finish to the skin and the little shimmer in it make your face look so glowy and healthy. I have this in the shade True Ivory.

I found these sunglasses in Primark and I fell in love with them, I love the pattern of these (one of my friends said they reminded her of giraffes, do you agree haha?!) and I think they really suit my face shape plus they were cheap so all's good and well!

This is a favourite all year round but Pretty Little Liars Season 6 started at the beginning of the month and I am loving it so far. I'm really enjoying finding out who 'A' is and why they are doing it etc. Let me know if you watch it because it's my all-time favourite show and if you don't watch it, you should, although you will become addicted and  you won't want to stop until you're up-to-date!

What's On My Face | Final Day Of School

I can't believe it's my last ever day at school, it went so so fast it's unbelievable but here I am finishing this chapter of my life so that I can start the next one which for me is college, but let's not think about that right yet, I have just under 3 months off. So I went for quite a natural look because even though I'm leaving school and it probably doesn't matter what makeup I wear I didn't want to look over the top. So although it is more than what I would wear on a day-to-day basis, it's still natural.

Golden Sugar and Hot Spice | Review

I'll be honest, I've had these products in my 'products to review' pile for a while now, I don't know what's taken me so long to get round to actually reviewing these but here we go, I'm doing it now. These palettes by Makeup Revolution are stunning, the first one I got was Hot Spice which is the one of the left of the photo, it has some gorgeous peachy pink shades in it as well as two highlighter shades that would go really well with the blushes. It has a nice mixture of both matte and shimmer blushes, so depending on the look you're going for you can opt for either. I'm not sure about this palette being for contour as well as blush because the shades are far too orange for it to be used for contouring. Saying that though I love the highlighter shades and they are perfect for everyday use.

Next up is the Golden Sugar palette which is the one on the right of the photo, I wanted this product for a long time before it came back in stock on the Superdrug website and it felt like forever for it to be restocked but when I saw it was I ordered it straight away and by the next day it was already out of stock again so I got it just in time! I really like the blush shades in this, there is quite a variety of colours in this so it's perfect if you were going on holiday, a couple of them could be doubled up as highlighters as well. The contour shades in this palette as opposed to the Hot Spice palette are a lot more suited for contouring, the shimmery one is great for bronzing your face and the matte one is great for contouring.

Both these palettes are £6 and come in shiny black packaging which is really lightweight so perfect for travelling. They also both have large mirrors which is always a bonus and makes applying makeup on the go so much easier!

Topshop Makeup Haul

I was in Topshop the other day and I was browsing through the makeup section and it dawned on me that I hadn't actually properly tried any of the makeup they do so I thought it was a perfect time to try it properly since it's recently been 5 years of Topshop beauty!

The first thing I knew I wanted to try was the Glow Highlighter in Polished, I was planning on getting this ages ago but I never did so I thought I'd just pick it up now and try it. I was going to get it in the rose gold packaging but the only had the normal ones left which made me sad because I wanted the rose gold packaging. I got it anyway and as you can see from the photo below I've already used it and I love it! I am a sucker for highlighters at the moment and I can't get enough of them!

The next thing I wanted to properly try is the lipsticks, I chose the colours Nevada and Innocent. I love the colours of both of these, Nevada is such a pretty nude colour and Innocent is more pink, although in the tube it looks darker than it actually is on my lips. I'm so glad I got to pick these up in the rose gold packaging because it's beautiful and I'm a sucker for rose gold.

Empties #2

It's been about 3 months since I last did an empties post and I have collected a few products that I have used up. Like I did in the last one I'll say why I like/dislike the product and if I would repurchase it again.

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel: I love this scent and every Christmas I am in Lush smelling this product. I wish you could buy it all year round but unfortunately you can't. I am definitely repurchasing this when it comes back next Christmas time.

Garnier Ultimate Blends 'The Sleek Restorer' Conditioner: I do like this conditioner, it's very moisturising and makes my hair really shiny. I also love the cocoa scent it has and yes, I probably would repurchase this again.

Carmex Lip Balm: I used up this product pretty quickly, I used it every day for about 3 weeks applying it in the morning and just before I went to bed. It made my lips feel so moisturised and because I got the strawberry flavour it smells amazing. 100% repurchasing this again.

Batiste Dry Shampoo: When I first tried this years ago I thought it was amazing but since then better products have come out and it's nowhere near as good. I won't be repurchasing this again.

Herbal Essences Clearly Naked Shampoo and Conditioner: I really like that these have no parabens or colourants in them and they make my hair smell so nice afterwards but they just don't make my hair feel that soft and after washing it makes my hair a lot my tangly than it would usually be so I probably won't repurchase these.

Zoella Soak Opera: I love this product, I love all the Zoella range, I think it smells gorgeous and this creates so many bubbles and also lathers really well if you're using it as a body wash instead of bubble bath. I will repurchase this once I've used up my many bath/shower products.

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara: I will continue repurchasing this product forever, it makes my lashes look amazing and it's my all-time favourite drugstore mascara, I love it.

Asos Haul

Recently, especially in the blogging world, there has been a lot of talk about the website Covet Me. If you don't know what Covet Me is it's basically a website where you share a product that you may love to all of your social media sites, you get points by people clicking on the link and the more points you get and build up you can then trade them for a voucher. I can honestly tell you that it takes literally no time at all to build up your points so that you can trade it for a voucher, I think I applied for two £100 ASOS vouchers and it took half an hour, maybe not even that! Fast forward about 6 weeks, I still hadn't received anything so I tweeted them and they told me that I should've got the email with the voucher attached on May 3rd which I checked and I hadn't got so instead they dm'd me the code that was on the email and that was it, I had my code. It worked at checkout and I was so happy, because I was beginning to think I wasn't going to get anything.

Onto what I actually got, I was debating on getting makeup or clothes but I am in much more need for new clothes rather than makeup so I opted for clothes instead. I bought some bits for my holiday later on in the year. I ordered six things but I ended up sending half of it back because it didn't look right on me but apart from that I do really like what I got and although they are quite basic, it's things that I know I will get quite a lot of wear out of.

First are these ribbed crop tops that have slits down the side, I got them in both cream and black because I just think they will go with nearly everything. I really like these because they're very flowy and light so they're perfect if you're on a summer holiday and you don't want to be wearing something too heavy and warm. Again I got these in a size six and they were £10 each.

So the next thing is these beautiful white pair of shorts that have pom-pom detailing on them, I really like these, they are so comfy and flattering and perfect for just throwing on if you're by the pool or if you want a casual outfit in the summer. They are a jersey kind of material, so they're very stretchy. The only thing is I'm kind of scared to wear white bottoms because they are just so easy to get dirty and I got these in a size six and they were £16.

-At the time of writing this I had applied for two £100 ASOS vouchers, a Mac lipstick and the Tom Ford Black Orchid fragrance, I have only received one £100 ASOS voucher, and that is it, I have not received anything else.-

5 Product Face

Today's post is going to be quite a quick one because I'm having a quick break from revising before my last exam in a couple of days. This is my 5 product face which I have been wearing nearly everyday since my exams started because it's easy and doesn't take very long to do.

The first thing I do is apply my foundation, the foundation I chose was the Rimmel Lasting Perfection Foundation which does actually last quite a long time on my skin which is one of the many reasons why I love it. The next thing I do is my eyes, I put on a thin line of the Topshop Liquid Liner which I have been using for so long and I hope they never discontinue it because it's my favourite eyeliner I've tried so far. I then apply some of my Maybelline The Falsies mascara which is by far my favourite drugstore mascara, it's so good! Back to the face, to bronze and stop my face looking so flat I use my Benefit Hoola Bronzer, which is just my favourite bronzer, I am still using my tester pot and I haven't even hit pan so the full size is just sitting there in my drawer waiting for it to be opened! Last but not least, I finish off using the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Permanent Taupe for my eyebrows. I know this might sound weird but I mentioned it in my May favourites I think and I explained that I saw someone mention that they used it as an eyebrow product so I thought I'd try it and I love it. It's not too dark for my hair colour and it's just makes my eyebrows look so much better than if I were to use a pencil or powder.

Liebster Award #3

This is the third Liebster Award, and I was nominated by Michastela for this.

QUESTIONS

1. Why did you start blogging?
I actually started blogging in summer 2014 because I had nothing to do and I was bored but then I got really busy and sort of forgot about the blog so as a new year resolution I wanted to restart my blog and see how long it would last, so far it's been about 6 months and I'm still loving it!

2. What is your biggest fear?
I am so so scared of spiders, they freak the hell outta me, I also hate little creepy crawlies and things that fly. I also fear death, I hate that one day I won't be in this world, I hate that I won't know what'll happen to the world once I'm gone.

3. If you could change something about yourself, what would it be and why?
One thing I would change is my nose, I hate it, I mean it's not that big of a deal because it's not an ugly nose and if it was on someone else I'd probably like it but I just don't think it suits me.

4. What is the one thing you can't live without?
This is so obvious but I would not be able to live without my phone, I don't really need to explain why because I feel everyone gets it but if I didn't have my phone on me I'd feel lost!

5. If you were given 3 wishes, what would they be?
1: I'd love to be able to sing, I want to be able to belt out a song and actually hit the notes instead of sounding like a dying cat! haha
2: I wish that I could live in a warm country but still be in England.
3. I want to get married and have kids one day, not for at least 10 years though!

6. Who is the person you look up to?
I look up to Zoe Sugg or Zoella, I have been watching her youtube for nearly 4 years I think and although she hardly ever blogs anymore I did love reading what she wrote and I just think it's been amazing watching her grow into something so amazing. If I could achieve anything near to what she has achieved I don't even know what I'd do, it would just be amazing!

7. What is your favourite make-up brand?
I think drugstore wise it would have to be Rimmel, they have incredible foundations and I love the Wake Me Up concealer. The Stay Matte powder is one of my top powders of all time and you cannot go wrong with the Kate Moss lipsticks.

8. What is number 1 in your wishlist?
This so hard because I have so many things in my wishlist but out of everything I think the thing I would most like to have is a DSLR camera, they are amazing and I love taking photo's so having a high quality camera would be perfect. They are just soo expensive, and I hate parting with money especially if it's a lot all in one go!

9. What are your hobbies and passions?
If you know me then you'll know I love football, I don't play but I love going to watch my team play and I get so excited about going! I think I'd also say that blogging is a hobby, I write posts whenever I have a chance and I love taking photo's although I would like to get better at that side of things!

10. What is your greatest achievement in life so far?
I don't even know, I guess it would be reaching my first milestone of 100 followers on bloglovin, but other than that I cannot think of anything.

11. What is happiness for you?
Happiness is usually down to a particular person or an object but to me happiness comes from the inside and if you are unhappy with yourself then you can't truly be happy.

June Wishlist

Another month, another wishlist!

I have been so tired and stressed recently due to having exams so the first thing I am lusting over is the Benefit Puff Off. I love the look of this and I can just imagine applying it under my puffy eyes and it just be so nice and cooling, especially it being a bit warmer now it would just be bliss!

I just think this Oliver Bonas Glass Terrarium is gorgeous, it would sit just nice on my desk and I'd put a little succulent in it and it would look so nice, I love things like this.

Next is the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow, I've heard so many good things about this and I really like that it has a contour shade and a highlight shade so it's perfect for travelling. The packaging is beautiful, I am a sucker for rose gold!

I love the look of the By Terry Ombre Blackstar in the shade Misty Rock, I think these are so expensive for what they are but they just look so good and Tanya Burr talks about them all the time. Misty Rock sounds like the perfect shade for me, taupe with shimmer running through it, I just love it.

I think the Frends Layla Headphones are the most beautiful things I have ever seen, they are rose gold which is obviously the main reason why I love them but they aren't big and bulky headphones which look ridiculous on my because I have a relatively small head, they're small and delicate and feminine and I love them.
